S.T.E.A.M. Co-Labs
The S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Tech, Engineering, Art, and Math) Collaborative Labs program is a cooperative ongoing project in which classes go above and beyond to help students learn.
The S.T.E.A.M. Co-Labs program is funded by generous grants from the Michigan STEM Ed Partnership and the Michigan Association for Computer Users in Learning (MACUL). Through these grants, WMAES has been able to obtain the following learning tools.

Probes
The environmental science classes have gotten probes to use to measure oxygen, pH, carbon dioxide, salinity, flow rate, conductivity, etc.
Drones
Mr. Barrett (Mr. Slider) recently purchased a drone for the school to use as a way to photograph and film the various ecosystems on the school campus. It is a DJI Phantom 3 and so far it has been used to calculate tree population density, land use, and phenology (the study of seasonal timing). Below are some photos of the school campus taken from the drone.
"Makey-Makeys"
Through the MACUL grant, WMAES has obtained "Makey-Makeys".
