Deciduous Forest
The decidous forest is characterized by trees that seasonally shed their leaves each year.
Things to do, Sights to see
Things that you can do in the decidous forest is to walk the trails, observe the birds, observe sounds you hear, observe the types of trees you see, and sit around a fire. West Michigan Academy of Environmental Science offers classes where you can study the trees around the forest or just the campus in general. In that same class, you will also study birds that live in that ecosystem.

School Projects
School projects that we have in the decidous forest might be offered in classes, camps, or just for families. In classes, students go out and learn different types of birds present and different kinds of trees found. We might have different camps going on during the summer for students who have an interest. For families, we might have familky nights where we have a campfire or just wander the trails.
